Without goals to achieve in our life, we are living without purpose. Sometimes you may feel that your goals are unattainable. This may due to the fact that you have not set an effective strategy to meet them.
Strategy: S.M.A.R.T. P.O.W.E.R
S - Specific: Is your goal specific and not just a vague idea? Visualise what it would feel like to reach your goal. If your mind can conceive it, you will achieve it!
M - Measurable: Have you developed strategies to measure your progress towards your goal? Set small milestones that you can reach, in order to encourage self-motivation and drive.
A - Achieveable: Is your goal really achieveable? Your milestones should create a process that makes your goal a true possibility.
R - Realistic: Is your goal realistic? Identify the pros and cons of your goal and your personal ability to reach. What do you need to change in your life?
T - Timely: How long will it take you to reach your goal? Creating a timeline to follow will keep you on track when things seem to take you off course.
P - Passion: How much do you really want it? Do you feel an adrenalin rush just thinking about your goal? If not, reassess your commitment to success
O - Open: Are you willing to adapt/change your approach to reaching your goal? Are you mentally prepared to take criticism from others?
W - Weakness: Have you identified the things/people/situations that may hinder your progress? How are you going to work on those factors?
E - Energy: How much drive do you have? Where can you draw the inspiration to aim high regardless of how you may feel along the journey?
R - Real: Are your feet firmly on the ground? Whatever your goal is, does it meet the needs of the things that are soulfully important to you?
